Rachelle Netland (she/her) is a Minnesota-based studio artist known for her emotive and whimsical abstract paintings. Utilizing intuition, memory, and chance, she allows the essence of flora, fauna, and their landscapes to manifest in her artwork, resulting in vibrant, bold, large-scale acrylic pieces that radiate life and energy.
Rachelle holds a B.S. in Mass Communications and a B.F.A. in 2D Studies from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. She furthered her education by earning an M.F.A. in Painting from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2022.
Her artwork is represented in a variety of collections, both private and public, in academic and residential settings throughout the United States and France. Rachelle’s primary studio is situated in a historic casket-making building within the lively Northeast Minneapolis arts district, where she is a member of the North East Minneapolis Arts Association.
Outside of her studio practice, Rachelle enjoys domestic and international travel and tending to her perennial gardens at her rural countryside home.
